Boji Wash is a privately owned treatment plant located in Kochere, a sub-district of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The site is well managed by experienced managers Lema G and Meskel. The process follows traditional Ethiopian washing methods.
This year, they received hand-picked coffee cherries from 2,564 smallholders in the region, grown in the fertile soil of the Yirgacheffe highlands. After a quality control to eliminate bad cherries, they are ground then washed and dried in the sun on raised beds for 7 to 10 days depending on the weather.
This coffee has a nice citrus acidity and a floral delicacy with notes juicy, rich fruit notes. You will find notes of clementine, raspberry jam, vanilla and kiwi.
